My mom always had the best advice. It was just a tad late. After a fall that involved blood, she'd say....."Careful!"

Re: Cubber's Build Thread

Had a chance to do a few things on the truck yesterday. Here are the new wheels. The made the truck sit almost 2 inches lower between th shorter tire, and added clearance. They turn all the way with no rub, and the rears just barely tuck, just like I hoped!

Re: Cubber's Build Thread

I have a friend who is a really good body man, and he said that since we had the welder out to put on the pan, we should fill in the bedrails!
This guy is a master!

Re: Cubber's Build Thread

We also made a mounting plate for my airbag controls and radio. I had another buddy who came up with this concept, and I really like it so far. We are doing a test run to see if we neeg to change it any before we weld, grind and paint it. Also put on my $10 ebay seat cover!

Re: Cubber's Build Thread

Of course I was excited to drive my truck with all these new bells and whistles, but as it was sitting outside warming up, there was a loud POP and antifreeze went all over. The swivel water neck I got off of ebay flew apart!

Re: Cubber's Build Thread

Luckily, there was an old neck in the shop, so we stuck it on , and I was able to have my drive, finally!

Re: Cubber's Build Thread

The wheels look sweet Matt. The water neck blowing really sucks though. Hopefully you can get that fixed pretty quick and take her for a spin.
