Looks good Casey

Yeah it won't be hard at all to make that mounting bracket a bolt on assembly.

Re: Bmi built 66

boxed in the new frame to the old frame.

The rear is capable of laying out on a 32 inch tire.

More parts are being cut out today.

Re: Bmi built 66

Watts link brackets are welded in. I'm gonna get a set of heim joints for the for the center mounts. But other then that I'm happy with it!
the last pic is almost layed out on the size tire they want to run.

Wow!
Everything Is looking so cool! Great job!....Some really nice welds!
Just wondering, because maybe I can't see it well, but how do you remove the rear-end gears, or set-up new ones with the watts link welded on? Or maybe I just missed something...

No Prob. and thank you!
I think i made this post on page 3. but eventully it will be a bolt on setup. : )

Started building the watts link today. I will admit I made a mistake on my thought process. when I built this I didn't think about what happens when you want to change rear gears... at this time you can take the cover off but I really don't thing you could get he gears out. So my plan is to make a few cuts and modify this one to be a bolt on watts link. overall tho I think its gonna be badass!

Re: Bmi built 66

Casey, it would be cool to incorporate the watts link with the rear diff cover!....2 birds, one stone!

Re: Bmi built 66

decided that im going to mount the bags behind the axle. I really just didn't like how close to the center the bags were to the center when I had them inside the frame.

Re: Bmi built 66

Might it be possible to cut and use your upper bag mount inside the frame on the outside?

It would be possible. But I chose not to due to the airline would be coming out closest to the tire and I want that part to be as close the the frame as I can. I had a few new parts cut out for the upper bag plates. I might be able to get to them this weekend.
