Re: Glovebox Radio

Just received mine from Kel, and it looks great. Not only to I save the dash hacking, but also get my deformed cardboard glovebox fixed at the same time. Excellent engineering on this one Kel....

Thanks, I have the white overlays on both the '70 and the '86 and both with the blue led's. Man, does those led's really show up the gages and really cool in blue. Byrd did the one in the '70 and he does a fantastic job. It was worth every penny to let him do this for me. He is good. Can not brag on him enough and a supper nice guy.

Re: Glovebox Radio

Yes, he does a great job on the glovebox radio mounts. I love mine. I also did not want to chop up my dash in the '70. Great workmanship.

Re: Glovebox Radio

1) Invest in a patent, 2) sell it for $40 and 3) get rich.... I'm not sure those three will work together happily....

Re: Glovebox Radio

I will/would take one also. I am still working on upgrading the tune machine without defacing the original dash. This would sove a multitude of problems. It's a great idea I believe is worth pursuing.

Since you have so many people buying these you should post them on the parts board for even more business. Nice craftsmanship!. How much are you selling these for???

$70 bucks is a bargain when you see the quality of the unit. Kel just sent me one and it is beautiful. Looking forward to installing it soon.

Re: Glovebox Radio

$70.00 Shipped from Canada to your door is very fair. I love mine and went in the glove box opening very easy. Just fellow the directions that Kel sends with the glovebox radio mount and you will not have any trouble at all. Looks really cool.

I agree. Your $70 price is very fair considering they are handmade.

I'm curious as the why your selling without being a Vendor? Maybe you should contact Liz or Josh before selling any thing else.

Re: Glovebox Radio

i would like to buy one of those from you, the last owner(s) cut my dash! it looks horrible, if i can get one of those from you, i will patch the cut hole(s) and weld them up, grind them down, and still have a radio. oh, by the way, cool idea! you should get a patent!
