WOW! These builds are awesome. What kind of tubing did you use to plumb the airride? Is it regular brake line tubing?

Are you still working on this one?
I am curious to see the finisher truck.

Slowly but yes. I just finished the drive train and now I am ready to finish up the fire wall and hinge pockets before I spray the firewall and the inside of the cab. Then it gets slapped back together for some shack down driving before the body work and paint.

Kevin,
As so often said, awesome work as always. I wish I lived closer, I would definitely like to see some of your work in person.

Re: LFD's 41 chevy Project "Fill-in"

Sorry guys this has been a back burner project only because life has been very busy for us lately and this is the one project that gets neglected for it. But I am really going to try and get it done here very soon so the owner can drive and enjoy it and I can get some space in my shop back. The chassis is complete and running and I have smoothed off the fire wall and just this last weekend since the weather was finally up to around 60* I was able to paint it. So now I can mate the cab to the chassis and start finishing up the little details to get it running and down the road.

Just the engine bay and interior trim will be the charcoal grey with the exterior slated for a hot shade of RED.

Still needs a cut and polish but should work just fine.

Re: LFD's 41 chevy Project "Fill-in"

I started putting things together today. Set the cab on the frame and got it bolted up, next I will mount the booster and master so I can start completing the brake and air lines. Then I will set the front end on the truck and get it all adjusted so I can start the inner fender panels before moving back to the bed.

I saw Eric at a show in Napa Ca. about a month ago and he has the interior complete and has been driving it a lot. When I have time he wants me to bring it back and do some of the body work on the exterior and a metal need floor with a few storage compartments.
