Re: Sneak Peek

Sounds like (as usual) you have done your homework and have incorporated a better shaft design in these. They look great.
Now to decide how to scrounge the cash...

Another question, like others I have some tire scrubbing due to the wider track width, as I looked previously I had seen somebody (dont remember who) offered a set of "shorter" arms that I would guess would narrow things up some for that additional clearance. Does that just completly screw the geometry up? I think I saw on here somebody also sectioned their stock ones for the same results. Any thoughts?

Thanks again Nate for the quick response.

I might have missed it,... but what type of sway bar mount are you going to put on these?

I went ahead and kept the same swaybar mounting tab dimensions as the ART arms, as I already have a sway bar that works with this. I will get some more pics up of the shock and sway bar tabs installed.

Yeah it would change your geometery. Your spindle arc would be different. Think of it like this. If you took a 16" stick and tied a pencil to the end of it and held one end it would make an arc. Now if you took 2" out of it and held it in the same spot it would have a slightly smaller arc. That arc is what i am talking about. Now if you were to use a computer program you could probably figure out the correct tie rod length and shorten that also to get matching arc. Its important for the tie rod arc to match or be very close to the spindles arc. Nate probably could make something for you if you trully need to shorten your track width but one off parts usually cost a little more.
