This is the reason I am selling my '71 Chevy. I wish I had more pictures of my 1967, but that will have to wait until warmer weather. It is a 1967 frame-off restoration. It is all original. 327 400 turbo, p/s, p/b, factory air, big back window, factory smog pump. It came from CA and was rust-free from the beginning. If you HAD to get rid of one of the 2, which would you sell?

If I had someone elses money, I'd buy it and drive it! Just think how long it'd last if it was cared for better than most were in 1976. Wash it, wax it, keep the sun out of it- d@m right!

Tough to say lately, I think its worth his opening bid plus $5-7K minimum. Per a couple of earlier post, I believe 71 is the last year for the powerglide trans. Mel

I'm not trying to talk this truck up, but if that ain't the cutest little ol' truck I've ever seen! If I had the space for another vehicle, I'd be clicking "Bid Now" in a heartbeat. They're only original one time. Very, very tempting. I LIKE it.

Thanks! I'm hoping to be able to get some more pictures added to it tomorrow. I've had some requests for more and am hoping that it will be a little warmer tomorrow to get them taken.

Thats a really nice truck, I must say.
For me tho'...it just wouldn't work. Unfortunately, I would always want to drive it....and that is the one thing...that would de-value this particular example with that kind of original mileage. Plus, I just couldn't afford to lock it away or have it just for display purposes.
Regardless, I hope a serious collector with the funds, space and time to set it up goes for it!!!

Stock only rocks if you like it that way, (on the bumper bolts being different) but the truck sure is nice though.

It looks like after trading those two vehicles the balance owed was $2,250.

For less than $500 more you could have 4wd,V8,Custom Deluxe,locking hubs,HD radiator,chrome hubcaps,and a couple other things. Check it out,they guy put down a big fat 20 for a deposit then came back with cash and drove it off...with no insurance. My how things have changed.

IT SOLD!! (Well, at least someone bid on it - and the reserve was the starting price apparently - so it will be going to a new owner eventually when the bid is over).

Lucky bum! Wish I could grab it, but no place to put it. Oh yeah, and no money

Hope the new owner will actually drive it. If I could own it, I'd pull the motor, tranny, springs, shocks, spindles, gauge cluster and rims-swap 'em out for late model stuff (V8, 200-4r, drop spindles, lowered springs and 20's) and roll this sucker with a big ole S.E.G. on my face!
Naturally I'd keep it in a garage, and take exceptional care of the paint and interior...but I'd drive it every freakin' day!
If and when it came time to sell- I'd put it all back to original and probably make my money back and then some.

Someone put a bid on it a few days ago and then retracted it, thats the problem with ebay!
