Got the motor in and the motor mounts done.. Had to make a plate on the drivers side to move the mount foward to clear steering

Murd969, I like the shockwaves & auto level kit. You just hit the key & go !

Cameron, Motor looking Good ! tight fit with steering rack but it's worth extra effort.

Thanks harvey! If you could post some pics of your steering please do.. id like to see how you went around your headers! Whats the differance in the step notch like yours and just a c notch? Im needing to do one for my rear end to make my truck sit level..i dont want a big rake

Thanks buddy! i bought the mounts that go on the engine but made the mounts that go on the k member. its just a plate with some tabs welded to it. some tabs came with the motor mounts but i had to do alot to them for my applacation. i also had to make a plate for the drivers side to move the mount foward to clear the steering

how low is your oil pan? my motor look like it was close to the same height as yours I was sitting about level with my crossmember guess what I did a few days ago? replace a oil pan with a crack from hitting pavement

Yeah I saw you had to do that! Mine is about 2 inches above the k member so I should be fine. Plus my truck doesn't sit as low as yours. It's a couple inches higher. How can you turn so low??

I'm running some rims off a 56 chevy car I use to have a clearance issue till I switch to a smaller tire up front. so turning hasn't been a issue since then

coker 205 75 15. be honest first time ive owned cokers and last time. they pick up a lot of road dust. my diamondbacks on my fleetline stay clean for months.

Ive always heard that your bottom Arms need to be level when setting up your ride height..not sure if they have to be dead straight even, but heres mine..If for some reason that wont work please let me know

I also had to do a c notch in the rear to be able to keep the half shafts level..I think they are suppose to be level.. or close lol I dont know much about this vette stuff im just goin off the pictures i have seen here so hopefully some one can chime in if something doesnt look right!
