Re: Trucks in the Wild

Oh, OK. If I ever went to that big of a show, I'd just drive my truck...though it's possible that it would be cheaper than what I'd spend on gas.

nice truck, maybe a left mirror or even a rear view might help him stay in one lane.

Nice truck! I wonder why it doesn't have commercial plates. Ain't a house car with an open bed.

Re: Trucks in the Wild

None of my old trucks have commercial plates. I can now even put passenger plates on my Dodge 3500 . I would have to de rate its load limit .

LOL, didn’t even notice that. What a lunatic :-)

I couldn’t remember if it was 680 north or east… should have just looked at the picture and zoomed it, the answer is right there

Just my opinion - I think he was caught changing lanes because how close the stripes are.

Is it my eyes, or the angle of the picture, is something different about the hood and grille?

Hood is open and the diagonal shadows make it look like a cowl hood, but I think it's stock
I don't think there is a grill, just a gaping abyss

Re: Trucks in the Wild

That ol' girl is going to lay in the weeds until the frame breaks in half. Sick. I looked at a '68 Skylark GS that seemed good in the pics, but when I went to look at it, it had sat in flood waters 20" deep. Gal said, "it was her baby". Well, I guess you didn't care if "your baby" got drownderized. There was nothing good left on it. Frame was on the ground. I see these things and remember when I worked at Chevrolet dealers and every vehicle sold was a person's pride and joy. Then this kind of stuff happens. I just don't get it.
