mine were second hand wheels and in ruff shape when i got them. a couple of em had curb rash and looked liked they hadnt been polished in years. i sent them to get professionally fixed and i polished them myself with LOTS of TLC. i only use Mothers Billet Metal Polish, and try to do them every 4 to 6 months. overall iam pretty happy with the overall shine and quality of Intros. i think those would look clean for the look you are going for.

Re: 67c10 build

That's awesome Hector, sounds like you scored a pretty good deal then. I'm thinking they will look pretty good. Thinkin blue medium poly with white somewhere... Most likely roof skin and tail gate lettering. I've got weld Cheyennes on my duramax that I hand rub with mothers and they always turn out great.

Re: 67c10 build

I know you are looking at doing a Factory Paint Scheme so I wanted to post up how mine came from the factory. It is a little faded, supposed to be Dark Blue/White. Red is my favorite color so its probably getting changed but in the back of my mind I think about leaving it Blue/White.

I love the original colors I'm a fan of red as well but unless my truck was originally red I wouldn't paint it red just because it seems to be one of the most used colors on rebuilt c10's. just my thoughts anway lol

Re: 67c10 build

Yeah I deffinetly would like to go off the 67 gm color chart. I really like the medium blue poly and light blue. I almost wish it was a 68 and I'd do the 50th anniversary colors

Thanks I think so too, I just can't get red out of my head. It's my favorite color and I know red is used alot especially on C10's but there aren't any red ones around where I live. All the ones I have seen are Blue, Black and a couple burnt orange ones. Plus I love the way N2Billets old truck Lucy looks. I am a long way from paint so I won't make up my mind until I'm ready for it. I agree with the original light blue though, that is a nice color.

I have some rear cab roof pillars going into the scrap pile if you need a patch for those awesome speaker holes. Just pay for the postage.

Yeah I'll take you up on that if it's reasonable to ship. Thanks for the help. I think the brakes turned out good should look good behind some wheels

Re: 67c10 build

This is what I have, a lot of the spot welds are already cut. I was thinking I would remove the inner skins at however tall you want it and stuff the two skins in a flat rate postage box. Im guessing about $10 to mail them. Once I get dimensions I can give you a better number. Just thinkin it would be a little easier with the right curve for you to fix yours, and keep some vintage steel in use

First pic is yours, looks like they cut just under the seatbelt hole? how far above and below that hole do you need?

the awesome wrong seatbelts cost extra

Re: 67c10 build

That's awesome I'd appreciate that a ton. If you could give me about an inch above the seatbelt and eight inches below I think that'd be perfect. Let me know what I'd owe you, thanks a ton.
