Re: 67 short fleet
Well I picked up another truck. A 52 chevy 3/4 ton five window. The plan is to make a cheap project for my 13 1/2 year old son. I want both my son and daughter to know about cars. Should be fun!

Re: 67 short fleet
I ordered modular spindles and 3" drop springs yesterday frop CCP. I hope to pull the rearend out in the next few nights. I have a posi with 3.73's to be added. Almost forgot I picked up a 700R4 the other day also. I need to get these parts installed and take it for a drive. She will be ugly, but it would be good to drive it.

Re: 67 short fleet
I removed the rear end last night. It got wet at one point or another. Nasty looking oil and lots of rust chunks in the axle tubes. I may buy another and start over.

Re: 67 short fleet
I've been looking things over. A mock up. Lower control arm front bushing is shot. I've ordered enough parts to totally rebuild them. Ball joints were replaced years ago. I also have to come up with a plan for the brake hose/line. 67 is on the back of the crossmember and it needs to be on the front side for disc brakes.

Re: 67 short fleet
Posi rear end together and coating it with Rust Seal. I found the product at a swap meet and like it. I have kind of moved to getting the frame and suspension done first. Frame is damaged from an accident some time in the trucks life. I hope to pull the engine and trans soon to be able to measure what needs to be done. Single life is great, I just have more things to do. Happily Divorced my friends.
