Re: bedsleds rebirth

I would notice the difference between the body lines.

That being said, what's the purpose of dropping the bumper? It's like adding a front spoiler & seems it will increase the odds of damage since they're already pretty close to the ground.

Re: bedsleds rebirth

so pretty much this is where im gonna get the ideas for my backhalf. i recently got a 67 longbed for parts for my drag truck and dont wanna junk the rest of the truck since its in fair shape. and dont want a long bed so im gonna hack it off out back and make a shorty outta it and throw a swb stepside bed on it that i have chillin. it looks pretty hard but ive always wanted a bagged c-10.

the frame rails are 2x4 by .120 wall and 2x2 links 1/4 thick.. the base changed alittle bit but because i would get alot of lift with the bags mounted on the links no pan hard bar. trac bar from link to link

Re: bedsleds rebirth

Very nice build...but, I am going to agree that the body lines do need to match. A line that was constantly repeated to me as I was learning my craft...A fair line is pleasing to the eye.

Re: bedsleds rebirth

its been a long time since ive been on.. trying to get back in the grove of things.. soooo hot here in arizona 115 degrees where im located. i ended up getting a fleetside bed that was used as a trailer,it was a long bed. cut 24 inches out of it so it alittle shorted than a short bed.. got a grant kustoms full skin too

Re: bedsleds rebirth

Are those made for these trucks, or are they universal? How do they fit in there?
