Yep. I was also going to ask you if you had to shorten your driveshaft. I had a strange scraping noise when it was fully loaded, but the truck still had a good bit of travel left. I had the tailpipes put on with it loaded, and got a good look underneath. I didn't notice any obvious marks, and I had blacked everything out here at the shop. It would still get a little bit of that noise hitting bumps loaded. It was more of a hollow, ringing noise. No noises unloaded, though.

It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Not much new yet. I have cleaned up and painted my new intake, getting all of my fuel rail cover parts rounded up. I need to schlep my inner fenders to the house too, and swap them out. I thought putting the intake on yould be a quick deal, but I am sure I can find a way to drag it out.....

I understand that. I seem to be pretty good at that, too.

I was going to call you anyhow. Do you want those vent windows I have? I need to run over to the shop anyhow, I can pick them up if you do want them.

the frames and glass are in pretty good shape, they just need new weatherstripping. I'll grab them up next time I am over there.

It really is so. But, it looks like it has a good home. I've seen Matt on here asking quite a few good questions, so I think he will do it up right. I sold it so I could pick up my old '81 Trans Am, that I regretted selling almost instantly. It's up there in red dirt world with you right now, waiting to come back home.

The only way. Gotta drive it. We are going to see my parents over Labor day, and I am going to try to bring it home then. We don't actually move into our new house until the 17th of September, so I may have to wait. it's going to be a long wait, too....

All of the old pics I have are in storage now. I will definitely post some when I get it here. If we don't pick it up Labor day weekend, I guess a road trip is in order to OKC, and I can hang out a bit. My buddy lives in Tuttle, so it isn't too far from you guys. He has a diesel truck shop in El Reno (I think that's where the shop is), but does mobile service too.

I don't think you're supposed to ask this, but how much did the parts cost total for just the drop you did on this truck, not including wheels/tires?

It was a little over $500 shipped. I bought shackles too, but did not use them. That would save ~$55 or so. Jeff at CPP hooked me up. The only variable I could think of may be shipping; I had them shipped to me at work to save a little $$$.

Inquiring about costs for certain things is ok. Asking 'what's it worth' (vehicle or parts) or soliciting/selling parts w/o being a 'site supporter' is not ok. You can respond to any classifieds 'for sale' ad regardless.
