Hah, talk about old-school. I didn't even own a digital camera when I first posted in this thread, and none of my pictures were even taken after I'd done the 700R4 swap!

I can't wait to get it back on the road...it's looking like we might be able to get it done this week!

Nice progress fellas! I know it doesn't seem like it, but it will all pay off. That's what is cool about hot-roddin', when you finish and pull up to a red light next to a $250,000 Ferrari, whos' ride do you think people across the intersection are going to look at? Yours. You don't need spinners or neon, they will see the hard work that you've put into it. If you have a solid motor in it with some rumble, they will feel it too.

My 1972 Super Custom is still fairly cherry, but she's due for a frame off in a few years; I just hope I can produce great result like all of you. I have the 400SB just about ready to go, so I need to pick up the pace. I got too excited about the motor and neglected everything else. I guess I'm doing it backwards. Keep up the good work guys.

Here's my 69. My son drives it to high school right now. I guess that's only fitting since I drove it when I was in high school. It's been a part of the family for a long time. My 71 is still in a jillion pieces, maybe someday I'll finish it.

Dang, there's a bunch of great looking trucks out there. This weekend I've got a date with my camera to add mine to posterity.

Work Horse

OK, let's slip the old flatbed tow truck parts hauler in here. BB, GMC, flatbed w/ a cowl hood.
It is being replaced by a 79 Chev crewcab flatbed dovetail for hauling trucks home. No more trailers & tow dollies flopping all over the highways at 70+ mph.
This one will still be used to haul parts.

Heres my 70 project, just working on a disc brake swap for the front. And hopefully a good paint reconditioner.

Time to resurrect this post. Besides I promised to take pictures of my GMC this weekend. Added the 2nd pic just to let everyone l know that I'm not strictly a GMC/Chevy fan. 5.0 Capri rocks and that Buick is a GS with the supercharger (wife’s car). Car under the cover is my son’s 68 Cutlass. Yes, there is more in the garage but that’s for another day.
