Re: 72 2wd blazer build
Don't ask bagged74, ask his wife. She will give you the real story. From what I heard the VW spanked him good. His story was he went up in smoke, but I think he just got.....

Re: 72 2wd blazer build
![]() Well, that kind of thing is pretty common in my other world (hi-po VWs). It's pretty common nowadays for a street driven VW to run 11's and I know of one that runs in the nines. Of course his other aircooled 4 cylinder VW runs in the 6's at over 220mph! ![]()

it was an R32 GTi( all wheel drive for those who dont know), so traction was the deciding factor.

Re: 72 2wd blazer build
Finally had a little time to work on the blazer. It started tearing the front suspension out at around 2:30. and had the Dropmember and Strongarms installed by about 8:00

Re: 72 2wd blazer build
Oh sure, the forum gets "real" pics. All I get is crappy cell phone pics. Does this mean you don't love me any more?
Ooops, did I say that out loud.... ![]() Here's a teaser.

Re: 72 2wd blazer build
Ahhhh a thing of beauty! For some reason I seem to like the half-assembled mock-up pics the best... definitely my favorite part.

Re: 72 2wd blazer build
I do use all of my notch, but mines only 6.5" not the full 8. It could definitely be done with a little crafty fabrication
