Hello all!, If you havent notice ol'kd has been away from the board for awhile, I was enjoying the comforts of the local jail for the last 10 days. I just wanted to let all my friends know that I am alive and will be in contact with ya'all asap. I cant discuss way I had the joy of spending a few days right now, but I will issue a full report as soon as I can. Nothing new on the burban for now, but I have had alot of time to think about it, And I am going to do an engine swap to a V8 and maybe a 700r4 behind it. Its all captainfabs fault, last time we met up he showed up in his Big Block burban, GRRRRR! My lil 6 banger aint going to cut it, MORE POWER! updates to follow. PS to all of my buds trying to call me, The fuzz has my phone for now, just leave a message.

It starts, stops, all the lights work now and its BLACK! what is ol' kd talking about? The burban.... and she is heading for the car show in the morning! I have trashed on her all day long to get it ready. I run new exhaust with a spintech muffler, she has a nice tone now and almost sounds like a V8, almost. I run a new front tail harness and that fixed my light problem. I built a 33" tall shifter for the powerglide, thats just to cool! I also got the gas pedal back in with a cal-custom barefoot cover on it, circa about 1963. I couldnt stand 7 differant colors anymore, so $38 later and 5 cans of ACE hardwares finest rattle can satin black and about 3 hours of masking, its black and dont look to bad. I have the bars for the filler panels, but they are at the ex-wifes house till monday. Now before Joe231 gives me hell about no pictures, my loaner phone wont send a picture to my email, so I am hoping sweet70beast brings his camera to the show so I can get some pics up for ya'all.

well as luck would have it, the car show was rained out. At least I got alot of work done. My roommate is going to take some pics and post them so ya'all can see how the burban looks now.

The V8 swap goes down tomarrow! I am pretty sure I have everything to do it, for now. I am sticking a 283 between the fenders for now, because I know it runs. I am going to check out a '91 454 big block on monday, claims its stock and runs good. After a trip thru the machine shop and the summit catalog, I will slide it in with the 700R4 behind it and make this ol' girl a cruizer. I will post pics sunday or monday, depending on how it goes.
