That guy turned out to be a sham!!! I left his place and drove one block away to talk with another guy. He get's it for the same price I do, $54 a yard. But he is going to do the seats for alot less than anyone else. I was quoted $800 to $1100 just for the seats with me buying the material. He is doing everything in the interior for about $1000

It was more like a furniture shop so I didn't get a good feeling from the beginning.

I'm a little worried about the color choice because when it's all covered and in the truck it will look totally different than a small sample in your hand. Scary!

Can't wait! The material is ordered and should be in by the end of the month. Seats may be covered by the end of January along with everything else.

Hahhaah......9 days already?? Shopping and working is the culprit for my absence. Christmas is getting expensive and my truck is tucked safely in the garage. I went to 77chris's house to look at his project today and then I have my work Christmas party tonight so no updates on my ride!

I woould love to see his truck in person, it looks really nice. I have my work party tonight as well, something tells me I won't be doing much of anything tommorow. Have fun and be safe. Later, Kelly.

Re: 1967 C10 Custom Big Window

Slacker67 here with an update!! Truck was running really bad and couldn't figure it out, so I enlisted the help of some old school hot rodders and they helped me over the phone. Seems that the camel-hump heads were made with no bolt holes on the fronts up to 1968, so therefore they used the old compression washer style spark plugs. I was running the tapered type. New plugs and she rocks! Now I am more inclined to moving forward with the interior. Should have some material in about 2 weeks. I don't have any pics but there isn't a whole lot to prove! Maybe a video this Friday of her running right. Till then enjoy this lovely picture of Santa's reindeer.......

LONE STAR THROWDOWN CUSTOM CAR , TRUCK AND BIKE SHOW Feb 24-26,2012 Just a little info on who’s behind this show for some people that dont know the story! It came about when Todd (Radar) Hendrex and Lonnie Ford were sitting around talking about all the old shows that they have been to thru out the years. Thats when they decided to THROWDOWN one of the shows that would bring it all back to what really started this whole scene. Plain and simple this show is going to bring back that old school swing of just hanging out with good friends and showing off our rides! Don’t miss out on one hell of a THROWDOWN!

Man I got excited there for a minute. You registered for that show at Montgomery County Fair Grounds, and I thought you was coming up to see me! I live in Montgomery County, in KY anyways! That'd be a heck of a road trip for a show!

Re: 1967 C10 Custom Big Window

Got a few little parts today at Outback, nice to have them so close to home! Overflow bottle has a washer style lid on it but luckily I have a dual hose lid to make it into an overflow. Got my trim on the brake/gas pedal, new knobs for the radio and instrument cluster. Vent widow locks and kick panels.
