Re: 1967 C10 Custom Big Window
Sweet! But whicha bottle for whata? I C the glass one and the plastic washer bottles. How you gonna do that again?
Yeah man, I'd love to C your truck someday. Wish I had more 67-72 chevy truck guys to hang out with up here. I see a truck every once and a while, but don't always have time to stop. Planning to make up some website business cards with my username on them to hand out or put under windshields, so they can check out the site and look me up.

Re: 1967 C10 Custom Big Window
It was great! I was a bit nervous when you asked me if I wanted to take it for a spin but it was completely awesome. Thanks again! We're gonna have to get a video up of you driving mine
The truck is absolutely amazing in person. Glad I got the chance to see it (and drive it!) before I head back to school. |

That is probably coming out. Not to sure that I like it too much. It will be replaced by something gooder.

Re: 1967 C10 Custom Big Window
Ugghh. I dunno. At least I gave it a shot and it was something different that most people don't have. Guess that was my reasoning......FAIL.

Re: 1967 C10 Custom Big Window
Sorry man, not trying to add insult to injury...it was just seeing those pics made me sick knowing you have a pearl paint job....
The drip rail molding reminds me of that chrome tape you see everyone OVER-using on their cars/trucks....I'll pass

Re: 1967 C10 Custom Big Window
That sucks, but also good to know as I had planned on using drip rail molding on my truck! Guess not now! Didn't know that it was that bad. Even after you get it on?

Glad I could take one for the team! Dangit!! hahaha, I can't dwell on it so I'll just move on. The inside of my bed needed to be painted regardless so the paint will go on the drip rail too. I also have another little peice or two that has to be painted to match the truck also, but I'm keepin that under my hat till it's done then post the pics!

Re: 1967 C10 Custom Big Window
Moving on! Went to the shop to see the progress on my seats and to pick up the steering wheel and door panels, they came out pretty good. I am now contemplating on how to attach the bottom of the panel to the door, may use push pins but am looking at possibly putting polished screws though the material to give it a retro feel to the updated interior. Here are some pics of the new slickness.

Re: 1967 C10 Custom Big Window
as long as you can use metal for the mustang stlye clips you should be ok... my sisters 66 mustnag has cardboard door panels with those and the cardboard plus how the clips work really suck.... just a heads up. i would go with polished screws IMO
