I had a 65 and they work fine as long as the cardboard isn't rotten...I think the screws will be my second choice, but I would probably polish an aluminum flat bar and put the screws through that, should make a nice custom peice.

It does, but these things happen and no use cryin about it. It'll be fixed before the show at the end of the month. Already picked up the paint to do the bed, drip rail, and a couple of other things. Got my ghost blue pearl on order too.

Sorry about the drip rail! I remember you telling me you were thinking about doing it but I had not heard the horror stories! At least it won't be too bad to fix, especially since you were already planning on getting stuff repainted. Anyways, you're interior's looking sweet! I can't wait to see the seats all done.

Me too!!! Been a long time coming on this interior. I designed the seats myself and took the picture I had drawn to the upholstery guy. I hope they come out like what I put on paper. The door panels came out good so the seats should too. He is way less expensive than alot of quotes that I got from other places, and his product is pretty good.

Nope, no amount of buffin is gonna fix that! I already got the paint and everything I need to paint it. If the weather holds out it should be painted Friday or Saturday hopefully.

Wish I would have scanned the picture I drew of the seats before I gave it to the shop. Dang hind-sight. Guess we'll see how close they get it to the drawing on Friday or Saturday. I'm a little afraid.....

Re: 1967 C10 Custom Big Window

Seems like a big weekend coming up. Picking up my seats, painting the drip rail again and also painting the inside of the bed again. Friday isn't gonna work so we had to change the day. Lot of work to do before Saturday, got the bed half scuffed. My brother came over this past weekend and helped me do a few things, one was the firewall insulation. A small bit of advise to anyone installing the firewall insulation, do it while everything is still out!!!!

I am running Heddmann's ceramic coated for a 69 Camaro. Had very little clearance issues. I did put a spacer on my engine mounts on the crossmember about a 1/4 inch to lift the engine just a little.
