Yes I did and I just sent you a reply. Sorry but with the high number of orders I have on a continuous basis, I just can not be here on this forum everyday like I used to for many years. For a faster reply please send me an email to captainfab454@hotmail.com as stated in post #1.

Re: '67-'72 Power Brake Booster Bracket With Hydraulic Clutch Conversion

Hey capt. Received my kit today. Fast shipping. Thanks.

I received a different interior mount than I have seen in the pictures. Just wanted to make sure it’s correct… I will work on my mock up this week and post some new pictures if so.

Thanks again

Re: '67-'72 Power Brake Booster Bracket With Hydraulic Clutch Conversion

Yes I do send the correct parts as needed for the kit you requested. Some of the installation pics are from 10+ years ago of a previous design. With working 80hrs/7 days a week every week every month, I simply do not have time to completely mock up another installation to take a bunch of pics. I wish I had the time to write up proper installation instructions for all 26 of my products, but I do not.

I am interested in a flat plate kit as I already have your booster bracket. What would be the cost for that?
Thanks

Re: '67-'72 Power Brake Booster Bracket With Hydraulic Clutch Conversion

Deleting the booster mounts reduces the cost by $25.00. So without any clutch master upgrades, you are looking at $225.00 plus $22.65 for shipping.

Did you get around to taking pictures of your setup? Mine looks like this too and there is nothing to reference. It looks like the standoffs will hold it off of the firewall.

Capt. Fab,

Do the welded on nuts act as a spacer to get the stroke length of the linkage correct for the master cylinder? The image to the right is of another truck in this thread and it doesn't have this style. Also, does the blackened steel sleeve supposed to have threads in it? Mine does. I would assume this should be a thru hole and only serve as a spacer to gain the right alignment for the heim joint.

Re: '67-'72 Power Brake Booster Bracket With Hydraulic Clutch Conversion

All of the parts you received are the current production parts and are correct for all 4 of my hydraulic clutch conversions. I changed the design several years ago and simply have not had the time with working 80hrs/7 days a week every week every month, to mock up and take all new pictures to replace the pics from 10+ years ago. Two of the pics on the pages included with your kit, show the new design.

Yes those coupling nuts welded on the back of the pivot block must be there.

Yes the threaded standoff is supposed to be threaded. It is threaded 3/8"-16 on one end and 5/16"-18 on the other end. It bolts to the clutch pedal with the 3/8"-16 x 1" bolt once you drill the hole and the heim joint bolts to the standoff with the 5/16"-16 x 1" bolt.

Re: '67-'72 Power Brake Booster Bracket With Hydraulic Clutch Conversion

Captainfab, I'm interested in one of these kits for my truck. I have a 1969, but have converted it to power disc brakes. I measured the booster last night and it appears to be about 10.75-11" in diameter. I've also attached a few pictures for reference. Will your kit work? Do you need me to check anything else to verify fitment?

Re: '67-'72 Power Brake Booster Bracket With Hydraulic Clutch Conversion

This is how mine turned out. Had to cut off those pretty parts.
I asked if he wanted picture but he said he knew all about these trucks.
It worked out in the end this was a 69 C30.

Re: '67-'72 Power Brake Booster Bracket With Hydraulic Clutch Conversion

If you use the factory booster mounting brackets, that booster might fit. If you use the booster mount that comes as the regular production part, it will not fit. The '69-'72 has the least room for a booster out of the 4 hydraulic clutch conversions that I fabricate. If you inform me of your intentions ahead of time, I will delete the booster mounts from the base plate at a cost reduction of $25.00.
