Very cool project and beautiful work!
Jealous of your welding skills ... I'm about 25% welder and 75% grinder :-)
Will be a huge wow factor when you're done.
Guess we can both safely say that Bill's in Oshawa is our saviour!

Re: Owen's C10

....cut the rivets for the rad support mounts, and made some 3/16 plates. I'm going to make a tubular cross member that bolts on with the mounts.

Re: Owen's C10

I've been super bored lately with the holidays, so I spent some time in the shop getting caught up on some things that were bugging me....pancaked the front cross member...cause I always wanted to try it, and I finished the other front cross member, and shaved the hole in the firewall where the wiring went through....

What thickness metal did you use for the frame work? I tried to use some left over crossmember metal but it was a different thickness so I'll have to buy some.

I think it was 3/16"....it was a bit thicker but I kept the top flush and ground most of it down...

Re: Owen's C10

I picked up some '68 front fenders cheap, that some body hacked some Camaro vents into the side of, so I made a quick patch, and slapped some bondo on 'em quick to hide that mess....not sure if I will use these, but they work good enough for mock up...
