Having driveshaft clearence issues. Gonna try to work some more magic!
New 1-piece drive shaft $185.
New 2-piece drive shaft $420.
Honestly thought one piece would be ok. GONNA SUCK IF I HAVE TO BUY A 2-PIECE AFTER I ALREADY BOUGHT THE 1-PIECE.
Note to self always do a 2-piece driveshaft(FIRST).

If you don't mind sharing, what/where are the 'clearance issues'?

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Re: 1966 Chevy SWB Gasser influenced truck

I would just do a tiny C notch on that cab brace over the driveshaft, there might be a little flex in the frame, and the rubber cab mounts to make it touch every now and then... that is if it is driveable with the bags all the way down...
