Nice work! I like that you still have a usable stock looking bed, unlike many that you see on here.

Thanks!

Think I'm pretty much done with the fuel door, though I might try to even out the gaps a little more. Here's how it came out:

Re: Parked Indefinite

I'm really digging the fuel door. How do you get it opened without prying up on the edge?

You got me! I haven't quite figured that part out yet, but for the meantime i just have a magnet on it. Something to grab on to for now, but easy enough to take off when I know what I'm going to do

Re: Parked Indefinite

Tried to bolt my slot wheels back on, but unfortunately the fronts were too close to the fender now that its lower. So I bought these off craigslist the other day and they seem to fit a little nicer. Ran out of daylight so the pictures are a little dark, i'll get some better ones soon:

Re: Parked Indefinite

I just bought the same wheels. 20x8.5 with 255/35/20 nexen tires. Wish I would have went with a taller sidewall. What size tires are those? They look really good.

Tires are 275/45/20 on 8.5 rims. Probably going to have to find a shorter/narrower tire for the front eventually, as they get a little close to the fenders(3/4" or so) when turned all the way.

Maybe I could swap out a pair of my 255/35s for a pair of yours to put on the back, then you would have a pair to pur on the front. wink wink.

Re: Parked Indefinite

Yaaaaay!!! An update! Great build, I am having a blast following it. That you take your time, think things out, and tinker with everything yourself is awesome. (At least that is hot it looks.) Really like you work on the pedestals and inner fenders. Bed floor is really nice too.

Thanks for following along man, really appreciate the kind words!

I'm currently burdened with the monotony of sanding away the faults of each layer that is put down, then adding another...but I think I'm close...In the next day or so, I hope to have it all one shade. Here's a shaky walk around of where I'm at:

Thanks man, I'm pretty stoked to be this close to having a driver again. If you need any tips or ideas on smoothing your wall, let me know

Thanks man, just about there

Seeing as the stock fan and shroud were going to be a bit of a chore to fit back in, I decided to harvest the electric fan from my nova. A brief once over revealed that there was a suitable void in between the intercooler and radiator, so the installation was set to begin. Pics:

And by the way, I did get curious at this point...when running at around 2500rpm the open hole on the left just about blew me away and the open hole on the right near swallowed my hand
