I can't remember, is the owner a boardmember? If not, make sure to get some finished pics posted for us somehow. Pretty wild ride!

Re: LFD's Project Traizer 2WD closed cab.
I would like to introduce myself. I'm Dan. I have had this project in the back of my head for sometime.Traizer! I started looking for a 2-wheel Blazer. I had read that John Fabris had a very rough version for sale that needed alot of work. There was a Pink and Vin tag which I felt was worth the asking price. I had read that Kevin was doing some work for other board members. I contacted Kevin . That was 1/06. It's at home now I will continue the work starting with the plumming of new brakes and fuel lines. I will let all that are interested in any progress of the build.

Re: LFD's Project Traizer 2WD closed cab.
Looking to replace/repair the sides of my 70 Blazer. I was wondering about those bed sides you put on. How would you judge the quality? I was also wondering how they sealed up the outer side from the inner side in the wheel well area? I know on the original it looked like there was metal bolted in there to keep the worst of the road stuff from attacking the inside. Where did you buy them from?
Thanks! Frank

Re: LFD's Project Traizer 2WD closed cab.
Quality is good they are a bit thinner than stock but even stock you don't want to be beating on so it really is not a problem. As far as how they are made and finished from what I could tell they are 100% the same as originals. Al bolt holes, flanges and nut certs are their for all your stock parts to bolt to. I think he bouight them thru Stan at ECE.

Damn fine work Kevin and you are one of the best fab guys I have seen
![]() Thanks, Kade Well I went back through and looked at the pick of the greenish one and I guess that answers my question about how it would look with a chop and bed cover. Last edited by jkade; 04-17-2008 at 05:07 AM. |

![]() Bed cover would be nice so you have storage and the mini truck idea about the sterio would be good as well. If I were to go in that direction I would do it like an Elcomino with sealed off storage and a truck that is sealed off from the inside but still leaving room for speacers and storage. Re: LFD's Project Traizer 2WD closed cab.
Another one of Kevin's crazy metal builds! I just don't see where you got all the energy to work full time and do builds like this on the side? I know this is an old thread but it's a great example of one of your projects. I assume these guys that contract pay very well
