thanks that helps I found a set of nozzles so thanks for looking, How did you attach the cowl leaf catches? Is that one a aftermarket or did you build it yourself.

LMC aftermarket. Stainless steel. It comes with stands welded to the screen. Pretty easy to install. Can't remember how much it was but for keeping crap out of the cowl, worth it!

I don't know why it takes so long to finish the last 20% of a build. It looks like the first 80% just flew by.

Mounted the stainless tail lights today. Looked real nice. still haven't figured out how to mount the stainless conduit to the tail lights.

I received a e brake pad and bezel also today. I need a pad for the brake pedal 1972 style
I received a pair of wind shield sprayer nozzles today. Now I can re-install my cowl back on the truck.

Today I mounted the wind shield spray nozzles that I purchased the other day. I thought they attached to the removable cowl. I tried every angle and then I came in and looked them up on line. It turns out they attach to the truck under the removable cowl. Piece of cake. Got my wire wall plugs for hose kit to go through the fire wall. I received them the other day and tomorrow I will attach them to the pump. Most of these pictures is for the guys like myself that took there truck apart a few years back, and couldn't remember where all the little stuff mount. I hope this helps guys.

After I get the truck back on the road I might have to bend the nozzles a little bit, so the spray will hit the wind shield. I mounted the radio antenna and the cowl seal and now the cowl was ready and back on the truck. Next I am going to order a pair of stainless wind shield wiper arms. I will get the blades from our local auto parts. Everything I do is a little closer to the finish line.

Today, I installed the washer hose kit. Put the long hose on the wrong side, so it was about 1' short and the other one was 1 ' to long. I didn't want to take the cowl back off the truck so I used a vacuum hose connector I bought from Auto zone today. I bet I through away a ton of those. But you can't save everything I guess. Well got it all together and it looks ok, I will have to wait for the test later. If you noticed the body lines are perfect. But, I got in a hurry, (getting dark) and I didn't put the 4 small screws in the cowl (on top) and when I closed the hood and reopened it , it chipped the paint, no worries for I am going to repaint the truck anyway.

Putting it back together, well I scratched it up some. The cab and front clip was painted with company's paint. I thought 1 gal would be enough to paint the whole truck. well it wasn't and the bed was from another company's paint. A little difference shade and I want the whole truck the same. plus when I sprayed the cab there is a couple runs in the paint. I want to fix that.

Well, today I received a almost new alt bracket for the drivers side of the engine. Painted them up with gloss black paint. I also got a new gas pedal and bezel and wiper arms. I need to polish the arms a little. I will go and pick up my wiring harness tomorrow.

Installed the correct arm for the alt. The one I had on the truck was a little short. I figured it was a after market one. I got one from a fellow board member and now it is correct and have a lot of adjustment left on the arm. the other one was all the way out.
I didn't get the wiring harness today. It will come in on Thursday. Then I will start getting the harness ready for the install. A friend from Lutz said that he would help me install it in my truck. The light is getting a little brighter at the end of the tunnel....................................
