Re: Randy & Jakes 64 4x4 SLOW build
http://www.ebay.com/itm/381149875281...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Jason I found these on e-bay they are 10 ply Radials they were 499.00 with free shipping equals about 125 a Tire. I actually wanted some 7.50x16's they were 151.00 plus 30 a tire for shipping and they were Bias tires to top that so I think I came out better with these Radials...Thanks for the compliments..

Tires and rims look good, should roll easy, no resistance.

Re: Randy & Jakes 64 4x4 SLOW build
I sit my front end back on for curiosity sake to see how the new shoes were going to look and to see how much clearance with a lot taller tire...
I have 1 that didn't seal has very slow leak... I must say that engine sure is easier to work on without that front end on there....

Re: Randy & Jakes 64 4x4 SLOW build
Just read through your build thread and I have to say, it's very inspirational to me. I thought I was the only guy doing major work on his truck outside and without a garage, which as you know, can be a challenge. Sometimes I think that dragging out all my tools to start and dragging them all back in when finished is more work than anything else.
It's nice to see the progress you've made so far and I'll keep an eye out for more in the future. It gives me hope that I can get the work done with the resources available to me... a little at a time.

Re: Randy & Jakes 64 4x4 SLOW build
Randy--Glad you are back working on your tk. I'm building a 3.38 third member for mine so i can drive it on the freeway. Of course i won't be able to use 4wd with the different front gears. Again, love your tires/wheels.

Re: Randy & Jakes 64 4x4 SLOW build
Thanks Guys, it's been a long while since I've done anything between the weather and being sick and had the Flu.... The ole truck moved under it's own power today, Turned it
around hopefully getting ready to start on the rear mount and cab corner, Been working 7 days a week for the last two weeks and next week have Inventory so really busy. Here are some pixs cause I know hoe we all like pixs... My Inner fenders are so rusted @ front and in the rear so are the fenders are banged up Purdy good really need to replace with repop or some OEM....I may be able to patch the fenders...got my passenger door aligned now so you don't have to have 2 hands to open it. worked on it for 2 hrs messing with it, came in the house came to this web site and looked up door alignment and within 15 mins had it aligned...It was really about to get on my nerves... need to adjust the clutch as it's letting out on floor no play whatsoever...We may be moving this yr and I'm looking for a place that has a GARAGE..... Hopefully...

Re: Randy & Jakes 64 4x4 SLOW build
Got out there this evening and worked on the ole truck for about an Hr. Finally got the rear cab mount fitted and welded in and also the flooring above it, now just gotta get the rear cab corner final fit and weld it in...sometimes it's amazing how much you can get done in a little time...

Re: Randy & Jakes 64 4x4 SLOW build
Hey, Kimble I think there either 4 or 4 1/2" wide I had to grind alittle on the inside of wheel and on the caliper to get them to clear....I don't have one broken down to measure for sure...But there not very wide.....

Re: Randy & Jakes 64 4x4 SLOW build
Well I'm trying to make some headway on the truck as I'm off all week, Yesterday before
church I thought it would be real nice to stubb my pinky toe, so when I came home and took off my shoe the whole side of my foot was swollen and blue, so I think I may have broken it, it's been hurting ever since. I did however manage to get a shoe on today and limp outside and do some work on the truck, I got all 4 shocks mounted and still working on cab corner it's being a pain to line up for some reason...but it's trying to rain again so you know how it is with no garage.....
