Re: My Dusty 71 GMCe Electruck
in this video The Greg removes more stuff off of his electrically converted 1969/71 Chevrolet (pronounced: "GMC") pick up truck in order to be able to access the 2010 Lexus GS450h transmotor input shaft
well hopefully this is all that had to be removed... Electric Truck Gonna Lock The Input Shaft . |

Re: My Dusty 71 GMCe Electruck
Maybe something like this would get those sounds for your Canadian buddy?
Not sure what it monitors thru the OBD2 but it might work... https://us.wrumersound.com/

Re: My Dusty 71 GMCe Electruck
after one too many sleepless nights The Greg made some significant progress on Rev. 2.0 of our input shaft mechanism, using this handy LDR 311 F-112 Galvanized Floor Flange, 1-1/2-Inch, complements of our friends in Vietnam, or as I like to call it the Lexus GS450h transmission plate two big of a hole reducer thingie
here it is as found in our local Ace Hardware store plumbing section |

Re: My Dusty 71 GMCe Electruck

Re: My Dusty 71 GMCe Electruck
Is the "Lexus GS450h transmission plate two big of a hole reducer thingie" being used as an alignment tool so you can re-drill those mounting holes?

Re: My Dusty 71 GMCe Electruck
that is correct, but it also required this additional mini adapter aka "rubber band set"

Re: My Dusty 71 GMCe Electruck
and then it was S&K Steel Time aka SKST
so this is the kind of remnants they have, and at first I thought this frisbie disc would work but turns out it was not sliced straight . |

so here's some pics for you to gnaw on whilst I editing the 3rd half of the Input Shaft Lock Out video series, ISLO
the two 1/2" plate cake final, final assembly will be held down with ocho M10 bolts for super strengthability, making it burn out certified . |

Re: My Dusty 71 GMCe Electruck
so lets level set and regroup a bit, so up to this point for the last year or so I have been driving this truck only on one electric motor inside of that Lexus transmission, this one, commonly referred to as MG2 for Motor Generator 2, and I have put on over 2,200 miles on the truck that way (yeah, I know whooptie do!)
