Do i have to weld in steering reinforcement plate

I have a factory 4x4 steering box reinforcement plate that I'm going to be putting it. Can i just bolt it into the frame via the 6 bolts to the top and bottom of the rail and the 3 that go into the steering box?

I just por 15'd my frame and all, i'd rather not grind it off to weld it right now. thanks
