I thought perhaps the old guy swiped his camper mirrors on the RH side my project. Nope, T-boned & bent pillar. My friend who is painting it called it something effect of classic auto-body forensics after seeing where they flamed the cab underside That side was a mess though they did a nice job cab & rocker with luck.

How did you reduce your cowl panel from 5-6 shim washers to none? I mentioned mine unfortunately takes 3/16", which is the side that was swiped. Otherwise the panel is good. It hasn't been painted yet, might be an option to change it. Too late to change the cab.

With assys, the guide accts for 1000s details such as OEM identifications& part numbers, written in short order. 700+ images include assm, illust., charts, and points of interest. Much of the info. applies to all 67-72 GM trucks, and to a lessor degree all 67-72 GM vehicles. My build thread, and more on the guide https://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/...d.php?t=730025
