I have been thinking about Trailblazer SS manifolds. I did some searching and found part numbers. They are supposed fit almost any frame from 60's to 80's.

Re: TBSS Exhaust Manifold Info (Pictures)

Wow, good prices. GMpartsdirect generally kills you on shipping though. Check out the build thread index-- I know there are a few running them in there for sure. Or, do a search for TBSS...

Re: TBSS Exhaust Manifold Info (Pictures)

I used them, Only clearance issue was between the motor mounts and the manifolds. I shaved the bump off of the mounts. Others just do a little clearanceing with a grinder.

Re: TBSS Exhaust Manifold Info (Pictures)

I'm using TBSS manifolds with dirty dingo adjustable 73+ mounts with the matching stands and rubber. They fit great with zero issues, they are not even close to the mounts or stands. I did notice the part numbers cast on mine are 12567483(LT) & 12567484(RT). Not sure what the difference is.

Same engine, same chassis, stands to reason same manifolds. Never look at an SSR the same again...

I just received my Dirty Dingo motor mounts and compressor mount, but no instructions for the bag of bolts!
Could you show me a pic of the compressor mounted and the idler?

Thanks

They charge $25.41 to ship them for a total of $125 so not too bad if you don't have maninfolds that work already.

Re: TBSS Exhaust Manifold Info (Pictures)

Lists a seperate part number...in my experience with them, anything listed separate that doesn't have a "*, kit, package" listed means its the item ala carte. I would expect to get the manifold alone, no studs no heatshield.

Re: Stock Manifold Options for LS Swaps

2004+ GTO : 12563277 and 12563278
They look like they tuck close to the block and ont have two vertical studs. Should be plenty of frame clearance...

I dont believe so. They started in 2003 with the 5.3L so it should be round port exhaust....

PS: I have a pair of 5th Gen Camaro manifolds on the way. I'll post pics when I get them...

Re: Stock Manifold Options for LS Swaps

Its 7" from the last manifold bolt on the head straight down to the flat gasket surface of the flange.
It sticks out 5.25" from the side of the block at its widest point. (Opposte of where the starter would attach.)

The right side was the stock 3 stud Sierra|Silverado manifold.
The manifold pictured with the ruler is a 2010+ Camaro manifold.

Re: Stock Manifold Options for LS Swaps

does anybody know if the stock LM7 flange fits the TBSS manifolds?
i see they are both three bolt flanges, i was wondering if i could get that lucky. i need a set of manifolds, but was hoping to still use the pipe and flanges.
i know i will have to cut the pipes loose from the y so they will fit in the frame.

What are people using for reducers/collectors for the TBSS Manifolds? Do I have to find a TB and grab the exhaust system off of it, or is there an aftermarket piece?
