Re: Longer wheel studs?
much better to take an old one with you the important part is to make sure the splined part is the same size
local autoparts store are a great source for common autorarts i prefer NAPA and CARQUEST as they normally have more knowelageble better trained(some even know how to read thru parts books) counter people from what i see most 7/16 are .480

Re: Longer wheel studs?
If I remember correctly, and there is always the possibility that I do not, I couldn't find longer stock 7/16" studs with that knurl a couple of years ago. I had put some 1/4" spacers on to bring the wheels out a little and wanted longer studs as I had only about 5-6 turns of the lug nuts. Never found them and removed the spacers.

Re: Longer wheel studs?
Thanks for the leads guys.
From what I have found, there is not a longer version in .472. Some guys on camaro sites said they used the .480 studs with little problems installing. The 610-187 appear to be .487 it's either longer studs or swap to 1" adapters. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Longer wheel studs?
Just did mine last week on 70 gmc 1/2t. They are Dorman 610-186-1. About the same price at amazon or $2.50 each at autozone. They are approx 1/4” longer than the factory ones.
