Windowcrank/doorhandle clips...

I went ahead and bought the tool that says it removes and installs these clips/retainers.
It removed them pretty well, I just can't figure out how to get it to install the clips.
Any ideas/tips would be greatly appreciated...

Re: Windowcrank/doorhandle clips...

I usually install the clip on the handle first then press the handle onto the crank until it "pops" into place. Not sure if that's how it's supposed to be done but it's real easy.

Re: Windowcrank/doorhandle clips...

With the handles off the door, put the clips on them, with the open side facing down the handle, and then press it all over the shaft and it will clip into place.
