Mine are 8 rims with 275/60/15 all the way around.... I'm thinking about 2inch spacers on the rear to move the wheels out some

Looks great, Poov!
What's the tire sizes and back spacing on the wheels?
I've been thinking about getting a set of the car rallies from them for my old blue but it'll be a while.
I have a lot of other stuff to finish first.

Something else I noticed is the color in your chrome trim. Did you paint the drivers side black? I think I like it better than the yellow.

Again, she's looks great

Hey Robbie.. Good to hear from you.. The backspacing is 5in..I used my 275's since they were pretty much new.. I'm not real crazy about how much they were stretched, but it doesn't bother quite as bad as I thought it would.. Id like to go with 295's at some point.. No I didn't paint the yellow.. I used pin striping because I didn't want permanent change of the '77 feature of yellow in the trim.. I've been messing around with it when time allows, just haven't finished...I'm not completely sold on it either..I like the yellow too.. How's the cam?

thanks to all for your appreciation toward my truck.. Slam the drop started out as a 4/6 but I have tweaked it some in attempt to dial it in to the stance I want. So an official drop amount is unknown by now.. Measures about
13 1/8" from the center wheel to the bottom of the fender in the rear and 12 3/4" front.. 275/60 rear and 255/60 front

I love the height of your truck. I wish mine was just a tad lower.
On the wheels, I was thinking of going with 8 and 275 on the front and 10 and 295 on the rear but now I don't know. Does yours scrub any on the front? (I have 275 tires on all four now....stock rallies) Looks like you have 255 on the front?

Can't wait to get mine back on the road. We've got to get together and take some pics of them together when I do. They look like twins lol

As far as the cam......Long story short is

The cam is in along with a few other things.
One thing lead to another and I just did a complete rebuild. Had a cracked head(882 head..didn't surprise me), needed a new timing gear and chain and the cylinder walls were out just enough that I thought it needed boring. Thought I might as well do it right and be done with it.
Bored it .30 over and put some flat top pistons in it with a xe268 comp cam etc.
I think everything is new except the block, crank and one head.
Wasn't expecting to spend that much on it so it has slowed down my progress lol
She is almost ready to drop in though! Just stopped by Harrington's after work this morning and picked up the stall converter. They market this cam as one not needing a stall but Chris said I would need just a liitle more than the stock one. Said it would make me happier at the stop lights and it wasn't very expensive.

Wow your tires look much wider in the pic. I have 245 in front and 275 in rear. needing new tires and I am thinking of 295 out back and 255 in front. You say you have tweaked your stance more than the original 4-6 drop. Exactly what kind of tweaking did you do to acomplish your stance now?
