327 what flywheel and clutch?

Collecting all the parts to swap from my current 292 to a large journal 327. I just read that the flywheel on the 292 is different than the small block V8's. What flywheel and clutch should I be looking for? I'm going to keep the SM465. Also any potential issues with the bell housing I currently have? Thanks

Re: 327 what flywheel and clutch?

Bell housing will bolt right on as for the flywheel every thing I read says it will also fit as long as yours is a "292" smaller 6s had smaller bolts and will fit the 327 if you drill them out.... as for the clutch if yours is 11" then it will also be fine

You could count the teeth on the flywheel you have now. If you have 168 then it will work.
