Cool Shaved - er Trimmed - er Front Bumper Modification

Here's a modification I started on my Bumper yesterday, and a picture of my inspiration. It's not finished but I think you get the look I'm going for.

If you move the bumper back up to where it should be, you won't have to worry about filler panels. Anytime I've ever seen a sectioned front bumper done like this, fillers have never been needed.

Those are 94-98 grilles. They are alittle longer. With 88-93 if you dont use the filler, you have to raise the bumper up from the stock location.

I tucked this one 1.5". The side filler does fit, just not installed in this pic.

I agree. That bumper is taken back a little too far for me.

Right now, I just have the outer brackets done, I'll try to take some pictures today. The outer brackets were done by cutting a pie shape out and bending back 3 inches, and drilling a new hole for the bolt.

Because of the rounded shape of the bumper, to bring it back three inches the frame had to be brought up a little. Doesn't raise it. Just keeps it the same height three inches back. :-)
