1965 centerlink p/s conversion

Hey guys I have just spent 3 hours combing the forums and the net and I'm not finding what I need. I am doing an 85 c10 power steering box and the captain fab bracket on my 1965 C10. The problem I am seeing is that my truck has the ram assist steering on it now so instead of a hole at the end of the centerlink for the new steering arm to plug into I have the stock power steering valve assembly. I researched and found this piece can be unscrewed off the end of the centerlink (I think).My question is , is there an adapter that I can put in its place to give me the hole I need Removed WTB part

You need to look in the classifieds section of these forums.
You're not supposed to post a WTB in the main forums.
That said, are you planning on upgrading to discs in the near future?

sorry for my lack of forum etiquette, I don't do this much. I usually just "browse" and find my answer. I have the CPP drop spindles and disc brakes. I've been driving it with the ram assist for about 5 years and I'm tired of the leaking. It seems these power steering swap stories I read are all based on manual to power conversion not power ram to power box so I think that's why I'm having trouble . The manual steering link seems to be my best option because all the parts I have , tie rods etc will fit. I read a story about a guy converting an impala back to manual and it was just a thread on adapter that took the place of the ram/valve assembly. I was wondering if there was anything out there like that for my situation.

Dont junk the ram assist system when you replace it.
Looks like the system is rebuildable.

I am looking to do the same swap but I thought the center link from the power ram steering would be the same as far as where the pitman arm and tierods mount and you could just remove the ram and hoses and install the newer power steering box with the right hoses for the new steering box.

I would just use the '85 steering linkage or linkage from a '73-'87. You will have to drill holes to bolt up the later model idler arm, but that is easy after you mount the steering box using the template I include with the adapter plate. Just position the draglink to be parallel to both the bottom of the frame and also the suspenaion crossmember. That is where the idler arm needs to be.
