If you will do a search for posi tag on ebay, there is a NOS unit for $25 going on right now. There are also several repops for around $10. Hope this helps, Harold

Dennis. Zip Corvette Products carries repops. The 73-79 tag says "USE LIMITED SLIP DIFF LUBRICANT ONLY" &

The drain plug holds it in place. If you unscrew the plug it should come right off. Thanks, Dennis

I believe the fill plug is different also the standard plug has no "shoulder" to retain the tag, I have always looked for this first when looking for a posi rear end can someone clarify?

Yes, my plug had the shoulder to hold the tag instead of a standard straight walled plug. Not sure this is true on all rears, but good point on something to look for. Dennis

I would check with auto parts supply I would think maybe Dorman would they have an extensive line of OEM type fittings and fasteners. Napa would be a good start.
