Not to bust on your thread, but maybe put on your request what you are willing to pay for these items. I know I've responded to your wants several times, but got no where as far as a purchase. I assume you're looking for cheap stuff, but maybe list what you'd be willing to pay. It might save people who spend their time replying. Brian

I have been guilty of this as well while looking for stuff. Sometimes I haven't a clue what something will cost or is worth(tow hooks for example). If I shoot some random figure out there and it is way low then what the going price is for that item then I am going to get no responses on it or people laughing at me thinking I am nuts. It's a good idea to do a search for the item and if found see what the going price is/was and go from there and post what you are willing to spend. What you are requesting benefits the seller, they might have taken less but since you said " I will spend such and such amount " well you get the idea. I agree on a starting point. Like I would be willing to spend up to. Then depending on the condition...ect. Haggle it out. Vs someone saying I need this and this...ect and expecting it to be dirt cheap and people responding with reasonable prices waisting the time to respond and it going nowhere. I haven't found a whole lot cheap in this hobby. I kinda focus on quality.
Just something to think about. Either way if you intend to sell or buy figure some time invloved.

I have a posi carrier that could use rebuilt (new clutches and bearings). You could have it for $200 plus the ride. I was going to use it, but have decided to go another route. I might even have the 3.73 gears that were on it. Those would go for another $50.

There isn't any housing, just the carrier. As far as I know it's all good. I would have to look at the gears again. It's been a while. The carrier came in a rear end I bought and I was going to have it rebuilt, but I think I am going to buy a new one instead. It needs to be completely torn down and rebuilt with new clutches. The side gears should be ok, but the spring band might need replaced. I can get pics for you tonight if you want.

You can get a new posi anywhere from $400-$600. You can't just buy the carrier. Ed from Mothertruckers posted the prices earlier in this post. That is about the going rate for new posi units.
