Finally

Finally drove my truck tonight. It's the first time since I swaped in the big block. I had a wild hair so I took it to cruse night and was surprised to see 2 other 67-72's there. Now I need to work out the bugs in it. Kept popping back through the carb...

Awsome Chuck, as soon as you get the bugs worked out you'll have to drive it down for the break-in.

I haven't driven her in at least 7 months. The last time was with a diesel in it. Man what a difference...

Hey Randy, I think if I drive her down there I'll have to seal up the bed and turn it into a gas tank first. She burned a quarter tank just going about 15 miles tonight...

Congrats Chuck! I came to cruise night for a little while. I was wondering if that was your custom camper.
I laughed because you said "multi-colored" the other day.
You got that right!
It was looking good. That BB looks proud in there.

Hope to see you Sunday

Cheers,

Where is the Cruise-in at in Fredericksburg? It's been so long since I've done the cruis'n thing down there, we all meet under the Route 1 bridge on saturdays. Thats been 20 years. I'll have to bring the longhorn once it's painted. Hey, Chuck, my 402 in the longhorn costs me about a 3/8 of a tank just to take trash to the landfill about 6 miles away and back. Of course the 4:52 (or so) gear ratio pulling 3600 rpms at 60 mph is helpin. What rear are you turning under yours?
