Pwr steering ?

OK . Another simplier question . What is envolved in putting pwr steering on a 55 series 2 truck ? It's my father-in-laws and he would like to know . Thanx in advance !!

The recent Issue of Custom Classic Trucks just did this.
If you can't find the mag. you can try a search for their web site.
Perhaps the write-up is on there too.

Yeah, check Classic Trucks too. There have been several articles on using a Toyota PS box with adapter. Very simple bolt-in.

PS Oh, if you are looking for a kit, I am pretty sure that CPP carries a kit.

Chevrolet had an optional power steering package in 58 - 59. I cant think of company that might reproduce them, but if you could find one it should fit a 55...even tho it is for a 58 or 59.
