Finally Got a Truck, its not a 2wd, but it is solid........
69k5.......
Been looking for a 2wd for about 8 months.....missed a couple because I had no idea that they went for such a premium.......oh well, I'll convert this one this winter..... Body is solid, mostly original paint......no rot.....an Idaho/Wyoming truck.........around here they rust in 10 years! PO did up a nice small block that rips pretty good. New cam, carb, pistons, intake, headers, exhaust, vortec heads, mallory, steering box.......engine runs great, but those Walker Dynomax turbos are way too loud! Pics to follow...... |

If you are using Microsoft Photo Editor, click on the image tab on the menu bar, then click resize. Change the image size to 85%. That should be enough to fit. Then resave the image.

The PO had the front buckets and rear seat reupholstered very nicely in a tweed like material, with seams, piping and vinyl sides.........not really stock looking though......I my try to match the new grey seats to the original dk green interior by using vinyl spray paint......I've heard people have used this stuff to color match carpets with good luck, and I have used it on leather and on vinyl with very good results, so I may try it on these seats.........

No Blue, body is really solid.......original paint mostly, and even the seams around the doors where the door skin folds around is clean.....not perfect, but clean.........how is your conversion coming along?

Great looking Blazer! If those front fenders bother you the way they fold in behind the wheelwells, you can remedy the problem by putting washers between the inner fender and the cab brace. (a little pet peave of mine...lol) Many people forget these during reassembly, but they were there from the factory.

Nice looking Blazer! Is that a single or double wall top?
Good to know about the washers!

HMMMM Bouncy.........that is what this rig does.......Bounces all over.......I'd call it BouncyTruck2, except that I'm gonna do my best to get the thing to ride more like a 10 year old beast.......
The top has no interior lights......and has a seam that runs lengthwise.........also on there is no interior bed rail flat surface......top seems ok to me, it would be nice to have an interior/dome light.........I'll bet I can retro fit something stock looking pretty easily........ |

My wife dubbed my truck "Bouncytruck" because of the not-so-smooth ride. I've got a 6" Rancho lift that is stiff as a m#$@#$@((&@*!
