There are two size hoses, 5/8" (goes from lower heater core to intake), 3/4" (goes from upper heater core to water pump). Some trucks have the upper hose going to the radiator.

I'm dealing with this today also, Radiator guy wants to know if I need the radiator that has the fitting on the radiator for it to return there. The old radiator is gone, the motor is out so which way to I go??? there is a place on the intake for it to go there and the spot on the water pump so which is it?

Any help would be appreciated..

If you have an automatic V-8 then I believe the factory setup was back to the radiator. My radiator guy told me that it should hook to the radiator if you have AC.
