It's nothing compared to those new aluminum wheels you are going to put on. BTW, when are they going on??

I second that. Keeping polished stuff clean and shiney is a *****. I have way too much of it. But it does look good when it is clean. Polished aluminum is not for a lazy person for sure.

I also second the hundred dollar you to death statement. Once you start, it seems it never ends.

I started with a 1988 Georgia State Patrol Mustang for $3200. After $20,000+ dollars and three seasons of drag racing I was able to sell the car and the trailer for a whopping $10,000!! The car did give me the excitement of a 9.78 quarter mile pass, but now that I think back on this, that $20,000+ could have been put to use for much better purposes!!!!

memories are great....but I could always use the $$$

DONT use simple green on Polished parts...it will discolor. Also be very careful with it straight out of the bottle. It really needs to be diluted to be safer. Its very harsh stuff guys...can damage lots of finishes and dry out hoses and such.
just a word of warning.

Yeah I've learned the hard way. I bought some degreaser and didn't read that it was not for aluminum. Yeah I had alot of polishing to get done after that. Still don't have everything like it needs to be.
