What size tires with 4 inch lift

I'm converting my 72 2wd to a 4X4, as you all know. The frame i'm using already has a 4 inch lift installed, so what size tires can i run on my truck with the 4 inch'er. Just a little background, it will be a 3/4 ton when i get it all done. Also, do i want to run 10 inch wide rims or something smaller.

Thanks for the help
David

I would like to run 35's (like dean's truck) but don't want excessive rubbing, and cutting the fenders is out of the question.

I suspect with a 72 truck you should be fine running 35's. If you take it off-road they may rub some, if you put them on 8" wheels then that will lessen the chance of them rubbing also. I think I can run 35's on my 85 with 4" of lift on the street without them rubbing, but off-road I know they would rub the front some.

Is that on an 8" or 10" rim?
