Which Lowering Spindles are Best?
Which lowering spindles strike the best balance between quality and price?
I'm looking for a 2.5" drop up front.

Present: 2015 Tacoma. Yeah, not a GM, but I love it. 1969 GMC 32,000 - fix, drive, relax, fix... 2019 BMW R1250 GSA - Yahoooooooo 1979 Honda GL 1000 - retro touring at its best. Past: '05 Sierra 4x4 - Had 270,000 KM and running well when it was written-off by a stop sign runner. '94 F-150 from the "F word" company. I'll admit it...good truck. Sold what was left of it for $800 to a guy who came to pick it up at 11:00 PM with cash in hand. Hmm. '79 Sierra Grande (Black) organ donor - perfect rebuildable 4-bolt 350 and a good TH350. '76 Sierra Grande (Orange) - hate isn't too strong a word. Kid who bought it turned it into a hot rod. '68 C-10 R.I.P. - Dad's old truck...too far gone to resurrect. '59 C-50 - with hoist. Truck is gone, wife isn't. Nuff said. |

I have only used Western Chassis, but I was quite pleased with the quality of the product. I have heard good things about DJM spindles as well, but they are 3" spindles that can require some grinding to clear 15" wheels.

ditto to Slonaker....I've used Western Chassis on both my trucks and have been very pleased with quality. They must be good since SSBC uses them as their spindles for the FORCE10 kits...

It depend's on how much you really want or have to spend!
I went top of the line for the Stepper and got Bell Tech but then again they were the only Mfg. making them back in '87. I am also running a set of Western chassis spindles on my S10 and there as good as the Bell Tech and way cheaper! Also there casted @ the Bell Tech foundery mine even had thoes word's cast into the back of the spindle

Yeah..to me it came down to Bell Tech and Western...when I got my setup from SSBC and saw that they used Western, I figured that for almost half the price I couldn't loose.
I'd say you couldn't go wrong with either...

I've used belltech and DJM 3" spindles personally, the DJM's required grinding the belltechs didn't. I used western chassie stuff elsewhere in the trucks and was very pleased with the quality. If they made 3" spindles I would use them next time.

I chose Bell-Tech cause I got them for $100.
They havent broke so I guess they are ok, lol.

DJM here. If your going to go 2.5", you may as well go 3". If you don't now, you will wish you did later....

I have purchased Belltech and DJM spindles. Both are of high quality and I have no complaints. I sold the Belltech spindles to somone on here.....
