Spring conversion

Have a 72 Blazer. Currently rebuilding it for mud racing.

Does anyone know of a company that makes a conversion kit to put 73' model leafs on the front. They are only a few inches longer. Just wondering if anyone has seen anyone advertising anything like that.

Awsome, we have a few members there, moe just north of you. I was in Challmette (just east of New orleans) for X-mas...got family down there.
Home you find what you're lookin for, but I doubt there is anything on the market though.
I am not familiar with the 4X4 frames, but can you cut a couple rivits and move the spring perch a little to acomidate the later spring?
Out of curiosity, why do you want to put the later spring on there?

The later spring is longer. Should yield a smoother ride and more travel. We had a custom set of springs built a few years ago and never used them. Light spring rate, thin leaves, military wrap, etc. But they are for a 73-87. Will probably just move the mounts. Do you know of anyone who sells factory style hangers/shackles?

You can get a beefier rear shackle for the front springs from www.offroaddesign.com I buy all my suspension parts from them and they are pretty knowledgeable and very nice to deal with. I believe your only option for using a longer spring up front would be to move your front hanger. Get too long of a rear shackle and you will throw your pinion angle off too much.
