Big Block Parts NEEDED!!

Lookin for a few parts for a big block.

1st is those damn little heat sheilds that go around the spark plugs. I hate 'em but I've decided I need 'em.

2nd is a left side exhaust manifold. Casting number means nothing to me as long as it's the same style as mine.
My casting # is 3856297
I have a couple other casting numbers that should work also;
3909879
3892307

3rd is an Edelbrock Performer intake. (Oval port) Might consider others comparable to a Performer.

I also have a 7 or 8 quart oilpan, (factory GM), I'd like to sell, ($40+sh), or trade towards the items above. It's in good shape but I don't have the pickup for it or the time/ambition to modify my crossmember to clear it.

Joesjunk;
Let me know how much and what kind of shape they're in when you find out if you have them all. They don't have to be in show quality but just decent and servicable.

gmcnorton;
I just got the heads back from the machine shop yesterday, (and got the correct valve seals today), so hopefully in a couple of days I can let you know if your manifold would work. Stay tuned!

Thanks guys!

Now any Performers out there for sale?

bertvert,
I only need a left side and I don't think your truck manifolds will work for me. Does your left one look similar to gmcnorton's?
Can you send or post pictures?

Joesjunk,
I'll look around to see if I can find a complete set first. If not I'll get back to you.

Fast67velle,
Questions about the intake;
Are all the threads in good shape?
Do you have the small block-off plate for the choke heat riser, (I think that's what it's called)?
Do you take Paypal?
And last, Total with shipping to me Medil, MO 63445

This seems silly but I had a original BB that had only 6 too. IIRC, cylinders 2 and 4 did not have them, this was an A/C truck. Does anybody know if this is correct? It appeared this engine was unmolested so I don't know why 2 were missing unless it left the factory that way. Or maybe because of A/C?

Jeff you are correct!! I just went to the garage and looked at my 63k original mile '72 402bb truck with A/C and it only has 6. Cylinders 2 & 4 don't have shields!!! So I guess 6 is the magic number!!

So that "deal" I gave the guy who bought them off me because I "discovered" I had only 6 was a real bargain then?

I'm okay with it though because he was a resto freak like me
