value

I think I have to get rid of my project. So, I was wondering what the value on the rolling chassis would be.
I have a 2wd 69 3/4 ton 8 lug rolling chassis with a cab, 4 speed granny gear (sm465) open differential (I forgot which kind it is but I know it has 4.11 gears). It comes with five rims and tires. Two of the tires have alot of tread and the others have probably about 50% of the tread, but this has been sitting for years so I am sure they have some dry rot. The frame is not rusty. The cab is pretty rusty. All supports, cab corners, some floor sections would have to be replaced. I don't see any rust around the windshield or near the dash. The dash was cut with (I am guessing here) tin snips and bent back on one side so a radio could be slid in through the front of the dash instead of going from underneath. The doors are both repairable but do have some rust. So, what do you think the value is?
thanks for any info
brad

doesn't sound like it's worth much, I'd be stoked to get 4 or 5 hundred out of it...

pics would help

yeah, I don't expect to get much out of it. I was thinking maybe $300. I can't post pics now because the computer isn't working right.

I completly forgot to mention that I have the whole front end too. The hood is in great shape. The outer grill is pretty bent up. The fenders only have rust in the front lower and rear lower corners and would be easily repairable. The core suppor and the wheel wells are pretty rust too. So, would that make a difference in the price?
I don't need money, I just have too much stuff that I know I won't be able to spend time or money on until at least 5 (probably more) years from now. I can't explain how much I hate to get rid of it; it makes me sick. I always said I would never get rid of my first car, or any old car that I ever own, but I have to leave for college in the summer. I could never understand how anyone could ever get rid of an old car or their first car, but it happens. I already have an old Ford, a dune buggy, and a station wagon, and I will probably have to get another small car in order to get gas mileage. I will probably get rid of the buggy too. I know you all think I should lose the wagon instead, but I can't because I know where it will end up (demo-derby). At least I know that this truck will end up being fixed or used for parts. This truck would take alot of work and skill to fix. I don't have the tools to weld and I don't have the time to do it. I wish I could just push it into the backyard and let it sit for ten years because I know I could fix it then, but I don't have the ideal yard for that.

Red Horn Button

Noticed you had a red horn button. I don't know if it is me but red horn buttons or steering wheels just are not to be found. Very rare if you see them. I have not seen them offered in truck part magizines either. Nice to see one does exist!

If you decide to part it out I would be interested in the shifter handle and knob.
