Just thought you'd get a kick out of this...

My truck is wider than my driveway...

85 vin, 91 sub clip, swb with 3/4 ton running gear 10 bolt front 14ff 10.5 rear with 4.10 gears. 350 punched to the max; .60 over; holley 600, sm465 granny low, np 205 t-case, 8 inch super lift springs all around, 38x15x15 Super Swamper Boggers on 15x14 bart wheels, Homemade bumpers with a Warn 9500xi and 6 KCs (well 2 KCs, 2 APC, 2 Bajas). I just traded my old truck for this one. Bunch of small things to fix, have to replace the lifters, one is sticking, hack the fenders, and mount the rest of my lights on there, also I am tacking the extra set of doors and opening them up, i.e. taking off the top, and cutting out some of the door for a better view while wheeling. Then I'll get it legal and get back to work on the 69.

definetly a good lookin truck.

Hey, how do those 38" tires do with an 8" lift? How much fender trimming are you going to have to do? Let me know, Im thinking of going with a setup similar to that later in the year!! Thanks!

Fender Hacking
I will take off probaly about 3 inches or more off the fenders, I like to have lots of room be cause I like to get twisted up.
Twisted Up
I am running 38.5 and 4.10, I mild 350 and I use granny low to take off in so the truck doesn't buck when I accelarate. I would go with a taller tire and a lower gear and hack the fenders more. A bigger tire/lower center of gravity is key
