Parts values
I have a 65 or 66 truck with a rust free pretty much straight box and rust free straight doors any idea on the price of these? Inquire if you are interested. Also what rear end came in these trucks. And what V8's were available this one has a 1 barrel carb. Where is the VIN on these trucks and what site do I use to decode it? Thankyou.

if you were in north carolina,id pay 2-3 hundred for the bed and two hundred apiece for the doors.the rear end may be a 3.08 or 3.73 maybe posi.the v8 would be a 283 or 327 TWO barrel.the vin is on the driver door frame.

Woah That sounds good to me maybe this thing is worth something. Is this rear end a 12bolt? 2 barrel would make more sense. Thanks a lot!

On the half, 3/4 and 1 tons, only the 283 was available. That was a normal SBC. On the heavier trucks, you could also get one of the very odd 348s. The VIN should be on one of the door posts, or on a plate on the drivers side kick panel. Brian |
