Question Radiator swap..... 3 core to 4 core.

ok, its about time i get my radiator replaced. current one has a really bad leak, bar's leak wont even fix it. what all do i need? so i dont have to run around while i am trying to do it. Do the brackets interchange? looks like there could be enough room to work.

There's enough room, but you will need the upper and lower brakets....

And you will need to bend or cut the lower lip and bend it to allow for the larger brackets....

Simple job..

you need the upper bracket which is just one big piece that mounts over the radiator. i got mine from chevy duty for like 15 bucks or something. you'll also need 4 of the wider rubber mounts ( 2 for top and 2 for bottum, same pn), i got those from chevy duty also. i got the 4 row radiator from napa, its made by modine and i think it was about 200 bucks. i'm not sure if you can use the small block fan shroud, i went with a big block fan shroud that i bought from pheonix and a flex fan w/spacer to center the fan in the shorter BB shroud
